Bhubaneswar: The 79th edition of the temple city’s popular cultural street extravaganza “Patha Utsav“, on the streets of Janpath on Sunday paid to the martyred jawans of the Pulwama attack.
In keeping with the theme of the day, storyteller Prachitara gave a storytelling performance on the youngest martyr of India Baji Rout.
Children also paid tributes to martyrs by lighting candles at the People’s Cultural Centre (PECUC) space.
Besides, patriotic songs including “Ae Mere Watan Ke Logon” and “Sandeshe Aate Hain” were sung and performed by children.
A Rangoli depicting national integration, patriotism and terrorism and how the act of terror is influencing the world in every possible manner was also created by Itishree Dixit and her troupe.
Signature campaigns were also held by several organisations.
