Bhubaneswar: The annual Plus II examinations, conducted by the Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE), began across the State today.

Today, students from Science and Commerce streams are appearing for the language paper. The Arts students will sit for papers from tomorrow i.e on March 8.

The CHSE has made elaborate arrangements for the examinations. All the examination centres have been put under the Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) surveillance.

The CHSE has also banned a number of items in exam centres including wrist watches and mobiles.

Around 3.69 lakh students are appearing at 1,091 examination centres across the state. The examination will continue till March 30.
