Bhubaneswar: Odisha recorded 64% voting in the 2nd phase of the election on Thursday.
5 Lok Sabha and 35 assembly seats of the state went to polls and a total 76.93 lakh voters had to exercise their franchise.
Voting in Bargarh, Bolangir, Sundergarh, Kandhamal and Aska Lok Sabha seats and the Assembly segments coming under these five constituencies have been ended.
According to the State Chief Electoral Officer Surendra Kumar, the polling was by and large peaceful in all the constituencies which were going to the polls in this phase. The people were seen in the long queue to cast their votes at the polling stations.
