Odisha Elections 2019: Phase-4 Voting Underway

Bhubaneswar: The fourth and last phase of elections to the 6 Lok Sabha and 41 Assembly constituencies in Odisha began today.

Voting is being conducted in Kendrapara, Jagatsinghpur, Mayurbhanj, Balasore, Bhadrak and Jajpur and the respective assembly constituencies under tight security from 7 AM and the polling will continue till 6 PM.

Nearly 95 lakh voters will cast their votes in 10,792 booths to decide the fate of 388 candidates in this phase, out of which 52 candidates are in the fray for the 6 Lok Sabha seats and 336 candidates are fighting for assembly segments. There are reports of EVM glitches and poll boycott from some parts of Jagatsinghpur, Mayurbhanj, Balasore, Bhadrak and Jajpur.
