Bhubaneswar: The four-day 18th Anjali Children and Youth Festival organised by Swabhiman- State Disability Information and Resource Centre concluded here on Sunday.

Over 400 children with disabilities participated in various activities and competitions and showcased their talents.

The festival began with a colourful carnival of love where children took out a procession in traditional dresses. Children participated in different workshops on cartooning, clowning, dance, music, papercraft, pottery and terracotta, science is fun, theatre, teaching learning materials and yoga.

The children got the opportunity to listen stories from grandparents during the storytelling session ‘Dada Dadi ki Kahani’. The shadow art show and the night sky viewing session organised in the lawns of the auditorium helped the children take a closer look at the night sky.

Panel discussions on ‘Accessibility and Universal Designs’ and ‘Disability in Literature’ was also held during the festival.
