Bhubaneswar: The 14th edition of the Toshali National Crafts Mela  with the theme based on ‘Handlooms’ will begin at Janata Maidan, here from December 15.

The fair is being organised by State Handlooms, Textiles & Handicrafts Department in association with the Development Commissioner, (Handlooms) of the Ministry of Textiles, with an objective to offer a forum for the artisans, weavers and sculptors.

More than 400 artisans, weavers and sculptors from all over the country will be participating in the fair to exhibit their traditional and contemporary handicraft and handloom products.

A food court having food stalls by exclusive hotels and restaurants will offer delicious multi-cuisine food to the visitors along with traditional Odia cuisine.

Cultural programmes will be hosted each evening with performances by eminent artists and troupes from Odisha and other states.

The fair will continue till December 27 will remain open every day from 02:00 pm to 09:30 pm.
