Bhubaneswar: The 53rd Annual International Convention of Computer Society of India CSI 2020, the first largest and prestigious IT convention in Odisha was inaugurated today at KIIT University Bhubaneswar. The convention is the largest IT convention of Odisha held for the first time in the state where thousands of computer professionals and students from all over the nation participated. The convention provided a platform for the participants to share their views and ideas on the various aspects of the theme – ‘Digital Democracy – IT for Change’ in the present scenario.

The three day IT convention was inaugurated by Sri Pinaki Chandra Ghose, Hon’ble Chairperson, Lokpal and Spiritual Guru Sri Sri Ravi Shankar Jee (via skype) as Chief Guests in the presence of Sri Tusharkanti Behera, Hon’ble Minister of State, E&IT and Sports, Govt. of Odisha, Sri Rajive Kumar, Member Secretary, AICTE, Prof. Mike Hinchey, President, IFIP, Prof(Dr) Sasmita Samanta, Pro V.C., KIIT as Guests of Honor and Officials of Computer Society of India including Sri Manas R Pattanaik, Convener, Prof. Dr. Lalit Mohan Patnaik, General Chair, Sri Subas Pani, IAS, Chief Mentor, Dr. R K Vyas, Chair, Prof. K K Agarwal, Past President, Chair, NBA, Dr. Samaresh Mishra, Chairman, and Ms. Rajita Kulkarni, President Sri Sri University. Sri Tusharkanti Behera, Hon’ble Minister of State, E&IT and Sports, Govt. of Odisha inaugurated the Exhibition.
