Bhubaneswar: International sand artist Mr Manas Kumar Sahoo and his students celebrated 71st Republic Day in a unique and colourful way. When India was celebrating the Republic day in enthusiasm, Manas Kumar Sahoo and his students also carved some of the historic monuments such as Lal Quila, India Gate which hosted the Tricolour flag. 

A message of patriotism and country love was shown in a creative and artistic way, reminding the people of India about the deep and meaningful selfless love of our Patriots towards the country.

This sand art is of 15 feet in width, and approximately 15 tonnes of sand was used to make it. It took Mr Sahoo and the students of his Institute nearly seven hours to complete it. “Happy Republic Day” is the message mentioned in this art.
