Odisha Government to Setup COVID-19 Hospital with 1000 Bed Capacity

Bhubaneswar: Odisha will be the first state in the country to set up such a large-scale hospital exclusively to treat Covid-19 patients. The hospital will have about 1,000 beds and will be functional in the next 15 days, according to the source.

The state government today signed two different agreements with SUM and KIMS Medical Colleges to set up the 1,000-bed state level hospitals in Bhubaneswar.

The Odisha Mining Corporation (OMC) and the Mahanadi Coalfields Limited (MCL) will provide the CSR fundings for this project. Both the new facilities will be functional within 15 days.
