The government has issued all sorts of guidelines to help people protect themselves against the spread of Covid-19. But there’s another contagion that will surely amaze you- an image reference from the book “End of Days”, published in 2008, going viral across social media platforms with at least 39,000 shares and 2,000 tweets, warning that the coronavirus outbreak predicted years ago in the book.
As per the image reference from the book- “In around 2020, a severe pneumonia-like illness will spread throughout the globe, attacking the lungs and the bronchial tubes and resisting all known treatments,” it said. “Almost more baffling than the illness itself will be the fact that it will suddenly vanish as quickly as it arrived, attack again ten years later, and then disappear completely.”
Doesn’t the above prophecy sound very similar to the coronavirus outbreak? No doubt, the similarity is uncanny. Netizens are absolutely stumped with the reference of the coronavirus outbreak in the book.
It’s no wonder some of us like religious stuff and prophecies. A book that predicted the coronavirus outbreak years ago, looks like a fact instead of a piece of fiction. And if the prophecy is a fact, then what about the other 200+ viruses that directly affect humans? Are there any other prophecies for those diseases too? Or, just this one !! Let the scientists and researchers sort it out.
Such predictions and prophecies aren’t a modern phenomenon. Rather than spreading all these terrifying imageries in connection with COVID-19 which harms the psychological health of people, we can share a few kind words that may give relief to people during the pandemic.
