Bhubaneswar: Today India witnesses annular solar eclipse of this century, with the Sun appearing as a necklace of pearls. According to Pathani Samanta Planetarium in Bhubaneswar, the eclipse began at 10.38 AM and ended at 2.09 PM. The eclipse was visible partially in Bhubaneswar in spite of clouds this morning. According to sources the maximum effect of the eclipse was visible at 12.26 PM.
Apart from Odisha the eclipse was also visible in other parts of India mainly in Rajasthan, Haryana and Uttarakhand.
