After a huge gap of around five months, the state govt has decided to begin the driving license skill test from 18th September. However, the test will begin with 40 percent capacity. Applicants can book their test slots after 14th September at 11 am. As per the notice, the opening time of the booking slots will be 7 am to 10 pm every day.
2706 COVID-19 Patients Recover in Last 24 Hours
As per the report, at least 2706 COVID-19 patients recovered from the COVID-19 in the state in the last 24 hours and were being discharged on Thursday. The maximum recovery cases of 411were reported from Cuttack. 354 patients were recovered from the disease in Khurdha. With this, the total recoveries stand at 1,08,001.
COVID-19 Cases in the State Likely to Decline by the End of September
Niranjan Mishra, Director of Public Health, has informed that rising COVID-19 positive cases in the state are projected to go on a declining stage starting from the last week of September. However, he also has stated that the rate will go down if people follow all the guidelines or protocols like wearing masks, regular hand washing, and maintaining social distancing.

On Thursday, the State government has issued new Puja guidelines for the Puja festivities. All the guidelines will be followed during Kali Puja, Lakshmi Puja, and Druga Puja. As per the new rules, to conduct puja on Pandals, one will have to take permission from the district collector and the commissioner. Only 7 people can attain the puja.
BMC to Apply Ganajam Formula to Put a Break on COVID-19
As the positive cases in BMC- Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation are rising rapidly, BMC has decided to apply the Ganajam Formula to control the spread of the virus. DHH in Bargarh Shuts for 3 Days After the Detection of COVID-19 Cases
