After repeated demands for flyover reconstruction near the FM circle, the district administration has finally started the renovation. Following the renovations, the district administration has begun eliminating all the shops and establishments nearby the flyover. As per the reports, about thirty-seven shops were demolished in the process. Further, the district administration had also issued a notice to evacuate the shops.
317 New COVID Cases in Bhubaneswar, Total no of Cases Rises to 20,855
Covid-19 cases continue to surge in the capital city Bhubaneswar, as 317 new COVID cases are recorded. As per the reports, this Sunday, Bhubaneswar records 317 new positives. This takes the total in BBSR to 20 855 cases. Out of 20 855, three thousand five hundred seventy-six are active cases. Further, the city reported 255 local contact cases and 62 from quarantine.

A mother and her daughter in Baleswar are having the same Aadhar number. They have been visiting several departments to get rectification on their Aadhar card. In a statement, the woman said that they have been visiting several centers to rectify the mistake in their Aadhar card. But have not yet got any kind of help.
An Elephant’s Body Recovered in Balangir
The dead body of an elephant has been recovered in the Ratakhandi Mouza of the Mathkhai forest. As per the reports, this Saturday morning, the villagers found the dead body of an elephant. The place was all bloodstained. People think that the elephant might have died of electrocution. However, the DFO said that the jumbo died of old age.

Sixteen New COVID Deaths were Reported in the State
The health and family welfare department report sixteen new COVID deaths in the state. In a series of tweets, the department announced that sixteen news patients had lost life while undergoing their treatment at hospitals. As per the reports, Baleswar reports the highest number of death with three demises. Bhubaneswar remains in the second position with two more deaths.
For the Second Time, the State Reports Less than 4K COVID Cases!
The Information and public relation department report 3235 new COVID cases. In the latest tweet, I&PR department has reported about the new cases; for the second time, the state has reported less than 4K cases. However, the state recorded 1915 quarantine cases and 1320 local cases. Khordha remains at the top, reporting 506 new cases.
