Odisha COVID-19 Recoveries Reach Near 2.5 Lakh Mark
As per the latest report, the state’s COVID-19 recoveries count has moved to 246837 on Sunday, as 2610 more COVID-19 patients recovered in the last 24 hours. As per the notification issued by Odisha Health Department, Khordha witnesses the highest 438 recoveries and 204 patients recovered in Cuttack. The case is also declining.
Odisha Engineering Student Develops A 4-Wheeler Vehicle
An Engineering Student from Odisha’s Bhabanipur, Madhumukti Maharana, developed a 4-wheeler vehicle using a bike engine. As per the report, the sitting capacity of the vehicle is two, and it can move at a speed of around 3o to 40 KM per hour. He developed that inspired by online games.
Pangolin Smuggling Racket Busted by Crime Branch STF
The STF-Special Tas Force of Odisha Crime Branch has busted a pangolin smuggling racket from Mahanadi Bridge, Rajakothi, and has rescued one Pangolin. In this case, the STF has arrested two persons named Marsalam Bhengera and Somnath Bag from Ulunda. The rescued Pangolin has been handed over to Sonepur Forest Division.
Police Seizes Ganja Worth Rs. 70 lakh
Around 712 kgs of ganja with an estimated amount of Rs. 70 lakh has seized by Machhkund Police in Koraput. During night patrolling, police intercepted the pickup truck near Bhedibada and seized ganja. As per the report, the vehicle was moving towards Jeypore from Andhra Pradesh. However, the driver managed to escape from the place.
Green Corridor Formed in The Capital City to Shift the Patient to Chennai
On Saturday, a Green corridor was developed from Apollo Hospitals to BPI- Biju Patnaik International Airport at around 4 PM for shifting a critical patient. As per the report, the critical patient was shifted to Chennai from Bhubaneswar in an Air Ambulance for an organ transplant. The work was done by an additional DCP of traffic and his team.
MP Aparajita Sarangi’s Office De-Sealed by BMC
The BMC- Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation has de-sealed the office of MP Aparajita Sarangi’s office on Sunday. The BMC sealed the office for 15 days based on the violation of COVID-19 guidelines. However, she informed that she might file a defamation case against the government for trying to damaging her image.
