Assistant Tax Collector of Municipality Caught Taking Bribe
The Assistant Tax collector of Municipality has been caught taking bribe. As per the reports, the assistant tax collector Deogarh, Rajendra Nayak was accepting a bribe of INR 1700 this Thursday. The vigilance department caught him red-handed while taking the bribe. The accused has demanded INR 6400 to approve the plan for a house building.

A Serious Accident in Angul Killed One and Injured One
Earlier today a serious accident occurred at the NH-55 in Angul. As per the reports, this accident took place in the Kishore Nagar of Angul. Two trucks in accident collided with each other in which one of the drivers has been killed, and the other one is severely injured. The dead are yet to be identified.
Four Brown Sugar Dealers Arrested with 5.32 gm of Brown Sugar
Puri: The Puri Baseli Sahi Police has arrested four accused who were selling brown sugar. As per the reports, the four accused were caught with 5.32 grams of brown sugar. The four accused were identified as Bjiay Behera from Khordha, Tofan Dalei from Nayagarh, Subhasish Dash, and Tutu Mallick from Puri.
Five Hundred Police Personnel have Donated Plasma so far
Although plasma therapy is not a medicine to Covid-19, still it has offered a sigh of relief in many parts of the country. The people recovering from Covid-19 are donating their Plasma to save others. The DGP, Odisha has tweeted earlier today that around 500 policemen have donated Plasma so far. This is a tremendous achievement for the state to fight Covid.
Three Bangladeshi Sailors have been Rescued in Paradip Port
The Paradip port trust of Odisha has rescued three Bangladeshi this Thursday. As per the reports, three sailors of the ship Ocean century fell into the ocean along with their rescue boat. So, the marine rescue team immediately launched a rescue operation and saved the three people. All three sailors are safe.
