In Puri Custodial Case, Rs 5 Lakhs has been Paid as Compensation to the Victim’s Father
As per sources, the State government informed the high court that Rs. 5 Lakhs has been paid to the victim’s father as compensation in the alleged Puri custodial death matter. December 14 is the next date of hearing in the court. The Judicial Magistrate First Class will make an inquiry of Puri on this matter.

After analysing three different bank accounts in Bhubaneswar and Pune of Akash Pathak, the investigation team revealed the amount of money deposit is Rs. 14.77 crores through transfer and clearing. A Sambalpur Doctor Donates Twenty thousand Rupees to the HIV Patients
A noble gesture was observed on World AIDS Day, Tuesday, by a Sambalpur doctor, Dr Shankar Ramchandani of VIMSAR hospital. He has donated an amount of Rs. 20k to two HIV positive patients admitted in the hospital, each with 10k amount. Last year, Dr Ramchandani also donated Rs. 50,000 for the education and treatment of a 12-year boy who has AIDS.

In Kendrapada, the Death Rate Increased to 175 from the 2003 Year
Kendrapada became the high-risk district in terms of HIV Aids cases. It has been reported that the cases increased to 175 death cases due to these diseases since 2003. To prevent the disease, the government has decided to facilitate more preventive measures in the SCB Medical College, Cuttack, and in some hospitals as well.
VIMSAR Reopened Students on December 1, 2020
VIMSAR was closed for the last eight months because of the pandemic, so the college reopened on Tuesday. The college is following strict rules of the COVID guidelines issued by the state government.
