Protest by Ravenshaw University’s Student for the Depletion of Self Financing Course Fees

On Friday, Ravenshaw University students protested against the management by carrying placards for reducing the self-financing course fees because of the current pandemic scenario. As per the sources, the students have submitted a memorandum to the vice president in this matter. However, one of the senior officials stated that it is not possible to cut off the self-financing course fees.

A Paradip Daily Wager Cheated in GST Fraud with Rs 1.5 crore

As per the sources, a daily wager identified as Bigyan Swain from Jagatsinghpur district was victimized by a fraudulent transaction of amount Rs. 1.5 crore. Some miscreants used his name in GST fraud activities. The entire transaction was made in the name of M/S Urja, the owner belongs to Paradip, but the transactions are made in Bhubaneswar.
