Everyday Life got Affected by the Dense Fog


Typical thrown into disarray because of the dense fog in different parts of Odisha. Due to the dense fog blankets in several parts, the railways and the road traffics get disrupted for poor visibility. Such condition continues till late in the morning. So, the government had instructed the district collectors to take essential steps to move heavy vehicles to avoid road mishaps.

Dawn-to-dusk Bandh for the Medical Colleges and Hospital

In Bhadrak, the district congress noticed the dawn-to-dusk Bandh demanding the students’ formation of the medical colleges and hospital. The Bandh is for 12 Hours, which is observed from 6 am and continues to the next morning till 6 pm. The shops, markets, and business places remained close due to this scenario. 

Dharna by ANM Staff at the Lower PMG Square in Bhubaneswar

The ANM Staff have been on dharna for the last 13 days at the lower PMG square demanding regularisation of the job. This dharna leads to the road barrier after four of the staff member fell ill on a Wednesday night. A large number of women ANM staff has been showing the protest for the job regularisation.

From December 14, the inter-district T20 league will begin in Odisha

According to the Orissa Cricket Association, the Senior Men T20 league has been arranged from December 14, 2020. As per the sources, about 37 affiliated teams are going to participate in the tournament, and each is divided into six groups. In Bhubaneswar, the matches are to be played in KIIT, Centurion University ground, DRIEMS Institute ground, and many others are there as well.

Astad Deboo, the famous dancer renowned for discovering Kathak and Kathakali’s unique form, passes away at his home in Mumbai on Thursday at the age of 73. He was suffering from a brief illness for a few days and left early in the morning. In 2002, he founded the Astad Deboo Foundation.
