    Cold wave conditions continue in Odisha as the mercury dips at several places. According to the reports, ten cities in the state recorded temperatures below 10 degrees Celsius on Monday. Simultaneously, Phulbani emerged the coldest with a minimum temperature of 4 degrees Celsius. The cold wave is also recorded to be prevailing in the twin cities, Bhubaneswar and Cuttack.

    Puri-Surat Express Derails after Collision with an Elephant

    An elephant was killed after it was run over by the Puri-Surat Express train near the Bhabanipali near the Mancheswar Railway Station under the Sambalpur division late at night. Because of the incident, six wheels of the train engine were derailed. As per the sources, the loco pilots and the passengers on that train were safe.

    Orange, Yellow Warning Issued in Several Districts of Odisha

    The meteorological Centre in Bhubaneswar, has issued an orange and yellow warning for several interiors and Odisha’s coastal areas for the three days. The orange alert has been issued in Mayurbhanj, Angul, Jharsuguda, Sundargarh, and Bargarh. Yellow warning has been issued in Kalahandi, Nuapada, Cuttack, and Deogarh.
