The State Transport Authority has extended the validity of Learner’s Licence, which had expired on December 31, 2020, till March 31, 2021. As per the sources, an order issued stated that the step has been taken considering the difficulties faced by learner’s license holders amid the COVID-19 pandemic. The learner’s license tests have started throughout the state from November 16 onwards.

A Bomb is Thrown after the Fight Overfishing in Puri
Rigidity prevailed on Sunday after a fight between two villagers over the fishing at Daya River. Two villagers were injured after a bomb was hurled by some unidentified person during the battle, as per the sources. The incident took place in the Gadisagada area of Kanas Block in Puri. The Police reached the spot and admitted the injured to Kanas Hospital.

Two Dead and many Injured as Minibus Plunged to Road Divider
In a dire incident today morning, two persons were killed and around ten injured after a minibus plunged into a road divider near Balughat. At about 8 am, the incident occurred when a speeding minibus carrying more than 15 passengers hit the divider and toppled on its side on the road.
