One More ATM Loot Case in Dhenkanal

In Dhenkanal, one person has been arrested in connection with an ATM loot case at Nimabahali Square. As per the sources, the accused had broken and had opened SBI ATM at Nimabahali Square on Dec 14 and 15 and had looted Rs. 26.56 lakhs of cash. Four persons have been arrested by police in this connection, and one is absconding.

30Kg Ganja Seized in Cuttack

On Sunday around 30kg of Ganja worth Rs 3 lakhs was seized by the Excise Intelligence & Enforcement Bureau in Cuttack. Two persons, including a woman have been arrested in this connection. The accused are identified from Bidanasi and Kisna Nagar area of the district. A four-wheeler has also been seized from their possession.

Girl Falls into River during Picnic in Sundargarh

On Sunday, a young girl went missing after falling into the river while taking selfies during the picnic at Kanakund in the Sundargarh district. As per the report, the girl is identified as Anupama Prajapati, daughter of Anand Prajapati in the Rajgangpur area. She had gone with her friends to Kanakund for a picnic where the incident took place.

Gangrape in Keonjhar, Four Arrested

The police have arrested four persons in Keonjhar for gang-raping a minor girl from Jalananda village in Anandpur. The 17-year-old girl was staying with her widowed mother in the village.
