Highest Ever Migratory Bird Count Recorded in Chilika


As per the sources, on Tuesday, over 12 lakh migratory birds were spotted in Chilika Lake during the annual bird census. It is recorded as the first Indian wetlands of International importance under the Ramsar Convention and UNESCO world heritage site.

4 Dead in Rourkela Steel Plant Gas Leak

On Wednesday morning four employees of the Rourkela Steel Plant died after inhaling toxic fumes that leaked at the Coal Chemical Department of the plant. According to sources, around 15 employees were on duty at the site during the incident, and ten of them fell ill following the leakage of toxic gas from the plant.

No Age Bar for Entry to Lingaraj Temple
