Odisha General Election 2019
As we all know, it's time for the Lok Sabha elections and we all are curious about who is going to rule Odisha for the next five years? Is it BJD, BJP or INC?
In the General Election 2014, the state elected BJD (Biju Janata Dal) from 20 constituencies. The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) was left with only one seat from the state, and no other party secured any seat from the previous election.
This year a seven-phase polling system will be followed for electing MPs for the Lok Sabha as declared by the Election Commission.
The voting for the elections will start from 11th April to May 19, 2019. The vote counting and result announcement will take place on the same date that is May 23, 2019.
