Kakara Pitha

Ingredients:
  • 2 cups Wheat flour
  • 2 and half cup water
  • 150 gm Jaggery
  • Salt to Taste
  • 500 ml Refined Oil (for frying)
Method:
  1. Take a wide mouthed pot. Add water, Jaggery and Salt and stir it.
  2. Once the water starts boiling, slowly go on adding wheat flour to the pot and stir continuosly to make a dough.
  3. Allow the dough to cool.
  4. Once the dough gets cool. Make small small balls and flaten it using your hands.
  5. Fry in oil and take them out on a tissue paper to absorb extra oil.

Your Pitha is ready to be served.
