Sitabinjhi is situated in the district of Keonjhar at a distance of about 32 km from Keonjhar city and 22 km from Dhenkikote. This place is famous for its forescro painting and popular ancient Odishan art of 4th century A.D. A river named Sita flows nearby this place. It is believed that Sita has given birth to her two sons, Lava and Kusha, at this place. In accordance with this event, the river and the place are named so. There are two huge pieces of stones named Ravanachhaya, resting on each other. The stone structure forms a shelter and sunshade. On the ceiling of the stone structure, and ancient painting is made which depicts a royal procession, most probably of Disa Bhanja. Near to this place, there is a park named Chikinia which is a popular place for outing and picnic.

Sitabinjhi is an important tourist and historical spot. It can be reached from Keonjhar by bus or hired taxi. The place is at a distance of 250 km from Bhubaneswar.
