The holy shrine of lord Ladukeswar, popularly known as Ladu Baba, is situated at a distance of 13 km from the district headquarter town of Nayagarh and at a distance of 100 km from the State capital. The temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva. The temple dating back to medieval times shows a fusion of Kalinga and Dravidian temple architecture.
It is an important center of tourism that is capable of driving a large number of visitors every year. Mahashivaratri, is celebrated with great pomp and joy and a bulk of pilgrims assemble at the core of the city during the Mahashivaratri celebration every year.
