Devagiri is situated in Rayagada district at a distance of about 50 kms from the district headquarter. It is a hill rising upto a height of 120.2 meters. This hill has an unique feature. Unlike others, it is not narrower upwards, rather it is flat like a rectangular plain at the top. There are 476 steps to climb up the hill. There is a cave in the hill, looking like two jaws. A Shiva Lingam is enshrined at the meeting point of the jaws. The biggest festival here is Shivratri. This festival draws large crowd to this hill every year. Regular bus service is available from Rayagada town to Kalyansinghpur. One can easily reach Devagiri as it is very close to Kalyansinghpur.
