Atta Kakara


  • 2 cups Wheat flour
  • 2 and half cup water
  • 150 gm jaggery
  • Salt to taste
  • 500ml refined oil (for frying)


Cooking Method

  • Take a wide mouthed pot. Add water, Jaggery and Salt and stir it.
  • Once the water starts boiling, slowly go on adding wheat flour to the pot and stir continuosly to make a dough.
  • Allow the dough to cool.
  • Once the dough gets cool. Make small small balls and flaten it using your hands.
  • Fry in oil and take them out on a tissue paper to absorb extra oil.
