Dambarugad Mountain

Situated in Sangrampur, approximately 20 km from Boudh town along the road toward Balangir, Dambarugada features a 70-foot-high mountain that exhibits a distinctive curved shape from all angles. At its base flows the Mahanadi River, creating a picturesque, visually striking landscape. Historically, Dambarugad was home to a well-known Vishnu temple that has since fallen into ruin over time. Historical copper plate inscriptions associated with the area can also be found in the nearby village of Tatarkela. Today, Radha-Krishna serves as the presiding deity worshipped in a local temple, making Dambarugard one of the top tourist destinations in Boudh, Odisha.
