The Veer Surendra Sai Airport, also known as Jharsuguda Airport, functions as a domestic aviation hub in Jharsuguda. Located around 5 km (3.1 miles) northeast of the city centre, the airport stands near Durlaga village, roughly 8.5 km (5.3 miles) from Jharsuguda Junction Railway Station. It provides regular flights to major Indian cities such as Bhubaneswar, Kolkata, Delhi, Hyderabad, and Mumbai, operated by airlines like IndiGo and Alliance Air.
