Christian Hospital, Berhampur is a thriving centre for Obstetric care, Neonatal care and many more. It is a 120 bedded secondary care general hospital. Highest standard of care is maintained in the hospital with a group of committed staff. Management: The hosp ital is managed by Christian Hospital Berhampur Society (CHBS), a Registered Society. It is a property of CNI and its policies are administered through ERBHSS. Dr Nina Eleanor Ottmann from the Baptist Missionary Society, England started medical work in a rented house in Berhampur in the year 1900 with an aim to reduce the prevailing high maternal and infant mortality. A hospital was built in 1907 at the present site. Many services and infrastructures were added over the years. In the year 2000, the hospital transitioned from a hospital for women and children and became a general hospital. []
