The Institute of Technical Education and Research (ITER), established in 1996-97, is located at Bhubaneswar and is spread over 40 acres of landscaped area within the corporation limit of Bhubaneswar. It is 8 kilometres from Bhubaneswar Railway Station, 4 kilom etres from the Airport and 2 kilometres from the Govt. bus stand. The institute is responsive to the changing demands of society. ITER has attained the status of a premier institution of engineering and technology in eastern India.
