The Dhamra Port Company Limited (DPCL) is a 100% subsidiary of Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone (APSEZ). Originally a 50:50 joint venture between Tata Steel and L&T, it was fully acquired by the Adani Group in 2014 for approximately ₹5,500 crore. Core Operations & Infrastructure: Strategic Port: Operates the Dhamra Port in Bhadrak district, Odisha, a deep-draft, all-weather port capable of accommodating "super cape-size" vessels. Cargo Focus: Primarily handles bulk cargo including coal, iron ore, and limestone. Connectivity: Features a dedicated 62 km rail link connecting the port to the main Howrah-Chennai line at Bhadrak. Key Services: Provides fully mechanised import/export berths, dredging, stevedoring, and project cargo services.
