The 11th Chilika Shelduck International Folk Carnival is a grand celebration that pays tribute to Asia’s vast cultural heritage. Set along the picturesque Chilika Lake, the festival unites rhythms, colors, and flavors from across Asia, creating a unique convergence of folk traditions and contemporary cultural exchanges.
This year’s theme, "Rhythms of Asia: A Fusion of Beats", brings together a wide array of performances by international artists from Vietnam, South Korea, and across India, all focused on the powerful art of percussion. Audiences will be treated to dynamic fusions of music and dance, from Maharashtra’s Maha Dhol to Korean folk and Manipuri Dholchalam, in addition to storytelling sessions, traditional art displays, and workshops.
