National Seminar on “Tribal Identity, Culture and Nationalism: Contemporary Debates in India”

Council of Analytical Tribal Studies (COATS). COATS is recognized as a Centre of Excellence (CoE) by the Ministry of Tribal Affairs, Govt. of India, and the Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR).

The seminar will focus on philosophical discussions and contemporary issues related to ethnic and tribal identity, culture, and nationalism, with a particular emphasis on the Northeast India region. It aims to highlight the challenges tribals face and how human understanding of self relates to others.
