The Chess Mahakumbh – International Conference on Social & Educational Chess

The Chess Mahakumbh – International Conference on Social & Educational Chess is scheduled to take place in Bhubaneswar, India, from January 14 to 16, 2026. Hosted by the Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT), this international conference is organized in association with the International Chess Federation (FIDE) and the All India Chess Federation (AICF).

• Purpose: To focus on the social and educational aspects of chess, marking the first time such an international conference is held in India.
