Senior Lab Analyst

Description

1.Performs routine chemical and biological tests in accordance with specified procedures.
2.Prepares chemical solutions, reagents, stains, and media in order to perform a variety of routine laboratory tests.
3.Maintains, appropriate records of test results.
4.Assembles, operates, and performs routine maintenance on laboratory instruments and equipment used in analytical and research work.
5.Provides lead direction to assigned subordinate laboratory analysts or other assigned staff.
6.Maintains a variety of records and assists in the preparation of reports and summaries of test and research results.
7.Input data, validates input, and checks results via computers and other automated systems.
8.Assists in the operation and maintenance of the automated database of laboratory tests and research.
