Description
1. Developing Safety Policies and Procedures: Creating and implementing safety policies, procedures, and programs to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal safety regulations and standards. This may involve conducting risk assessments, hazard analyses, and safety audits. 2. Safety Training: Planning and conducting safety training programs for employees, contractors, and site personnel to promote awareness of safety procedures and practices. This includes training on topics such as personal protective equipment (PPE), emergency procedures, and hazard recognition. 3. Safety Inspections and Audits: Performing regular inspections and audits of construction sites, buildings, and facilities to identify potential safety hazards, unsafe conditions, and compliance issues. Recommending corrective actions and monitoring their implementation. 4. Incident Investigation: Investigating accidents, incidents, and near-misses to determine root causes and contributing factors. Developing recommendations to prevent recurrence and improve safety protocols. 5. Safety Equipment and Systems: Evaluating and selecting appropriate safety equipment, tools, and systems to mitigate risks and enhance workplace safety. Ensuring that safety devices, such as fire extinguishers, alarms, and emergency lighting, are installed, maintained, and functional. 6. Emergency Preparedness: Developing and implementing emergency response plans and procedures for various scenarios, including fires, natural disasters, and medical emergencies. Conducting drills and simulations to test the effectiveness of emergency protocols. 7. Safety Compliance: Ensuring compliance with Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulations, building codes, environmental regulations, and other relevant safety standards. Keeping abreast of regulatory changes and industry best practices. 8. Safety Communication: Facilitating communication and collaboration between management, employees, contractors, and regulatory agencies regarding safety-related matters. Promoting a culture of safety awareness and accountability throughout the organization. 9. Safety Documentation and Reporting: Maintaining accurate records of safety inspections, training activities, incident reports, and compliance documentation. Preparing and submitting regulatory reports as required. 10. Continuous Improvement: Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement in safety performance and implementing initiatives to enhance safety culture, practices, and outcomes.Job Requirements
Minimum Education: Btech ( civil)
Experience: 8-10 YRS RELEVANT FIELD
