To be punctual and in proper attire To be responsible for total antenatal, intra-natal and post natal care To administer all drugs/medication to be given to patients as per the Doctor’s advice. To ensure correct recording of vitals and other parameters To follow standard hand wash protocol To ensure Labor Room is periodic and properly fumigate To ensure proper sterilization of instruments, linen and other gadgets To keep instrument trolley for normal delivery, breech delivery, dilation and curettage and for episiotomy ready at all times. To stock all emergency medicines, drugs and baby tray and resuscitation equipments ready. To take pathological samples and send them to the laboratory for testing To counselling & provide psychological support to patients. Responsible for promoting family welfare schemes Responsible for newborn baby's immunization. Responsible to teach patients on feeding of newborn baby. To adhere to biomedical waste disposal norms Carry out other duty assigned by immediate superior. Maintenance of Reports & Records Vital charts. Input and Output charts. Nursing Assessment Report Medication Reports. Other records as per NABH guidelines.
