To be punctual and in proper attire. To strictly follow asepsis protocol. To administer all drugs/medication to be given to patients as per the doctor’s advice. to ensure correct recording of vitals and other parameters To follow standard hand wash protocol To ensure ICU is periodic and properly fumigate To ensure proper sterilization of instruments, linen and other gadget To stock crash cart with required supplies and check that medicines are not expired To be very careful about bed ridden patients so that they do not develop bedsores, DTV etc. Other than medication, responsible for feeding, bathing and dressing of patients in ICU To assist doctors in carrying out treatment and procedures in the ICU To ensure that all catheters in situ are functional and not blocked To take pathological samples and send them to the the laboratory for testing To ensure close and careful observance of patient to find out any sudden change in patient's medical condition. To promptly report that change to doctors. To counselling & provide psychological support to patients. To adhere to biomedical waste disposal norms Reports & Records maintenance Vital charts. Input and Output charts. Nursing Assessment Report Medication Reports. Other records as per NABH guidelines.
