Regional Museum of Natural History

The Regional Museum of Natural History was established in the year 2004 with the motive to create awareness about the environment and promoting conservation education among the general public and students. The museum exhibits plants, animals and vibrant geology of Odisha, North East region and the Andaman and Nicobar Islands. One of the prominent attractions of the museum is the huge skeleton of Baleen Whale, which is supposed to be largest for any museum in India.
