Batrisa Sinhasana

Batrisa Sinhasana is a remarkably well-preserved 32-step structure traditionally associated with the legendary throne of King Vikramaditya. It stands at Nandapur, the ancient capital of the Jeypore Kingdom; this historic site holds profound cultural and archaeological importance. The area is home to several notable landmarks, including an impressive six-foot-tall red stone idol of Lord Ganesha, the revered Bhairavnath shrine, and multiple ancient monuments that testify to Nandapur’s rich past.
