There is a beautiful deer park at its base, which multiplies the beauty of this tourist spot. A fair is held here on the day of Baisakh Purnima. Reaching Harishankar is convenient through both rail and road transport. The nearest railway station is Harishankar Road, situated about 32 km from the temple, from where taxis and other local transport services are easily available. Visitors traveling from the district headquarters can access the site from Balangir Railway Station, located approximately 80 km away. The route from Balangir is well-connected by a good road network, offering a comfortable and scenic journey through the district.
