Siddha Bhairavi Temple
Siddha Bhairavi Temple is one of the most attractive and revered temples in the Ganjam district of Odisha. Located in Mantridi, about 18 km from Berhampur city, this sacred shrine is dedicated to Goddess Bhairavi.The idol of the goddess is uniquely carved in a crude style, featuring one leg and four hands. According to local belief, the idol was discovered in a ploughed field. All Sankranti days (monthly transitions of the sun in the Hindu calendar) and Tuesdays are considered especially auspicious for worship at this temple. Many tourists from different parts of Odisha and northern Andhra Pradesh come to visit this place.
